Maggie's First and Last Bath Given by Me - Back to Pets Smart we Go!

So Maggie has missed her monthly bath at Pets Smart for the past two months because of my busy schedule and a lack of funds on my part. So this weekend I thought I could do it myself.

$4.00 shampoo from walmart - Garden Hose = doable!

It started off well - Maggie likes water on her back side.

Getting a little more difficult - starting to change her mind about liking it so wellNot liking it at all!Back to Pets Smart we go next month - it is so worth the $40Even though it was a struggle - this is one good looking dog - in the aftermath!

Birthdays = Great Friends and Good Food!

No birthday is complete without a cake - yummy red velvet cupcakes are the best - sorry I look like el crap ol - I spent the hour before dinner talking to Paul instead of getting ready for dinner. I would say it was so well worth it!

Great Friends give Great Gifts!

So I had to share this one! Today I received a package in the mail from China. My friend Stephanie knows what I like, Mickey and Minnie, Pink, Cooking........... - She stated she hoped it would go with my newly painted Red and Tan kitchen! It's perfect! I love it so much - for it will be used and used often you can bet on it!Its reversible - how cool is that! I can either be in a Disney mood or just plain girl-ly!

ER Trip

Nothing says Sunday fun better a trip to the ER. 4 hours later a diagnosis of telling Lauren she wasn't pregnant, and had a UTI - we were on our way to Wal-Greens to fill the medication prescription. I will never go back to Mount Vista medical center's ER!

They have the biggest most comfy robes in the southwest! I guess that counter acts for the staff not knowing what the heck they are doing much less care about the patient!

Did I mention I will NEVER go back and neither should any of you!

Meet my friend Dylan who leaves for his new job with Colorado State University on August 27th. First trip for Dylan is Scotland September 8 - October 15th. Must be hard to be an advisor for the Travel Abroad Team.
Hmmm maybe someday I will get to travel Abroad with him - I keep telling him Ireland sure would be nice!

Who needs trading spaces?

So this is what Marie and her family helped me do this weekend! I love my newly painted kitchen and living room - I want to stare at it all day.

Cleaning the cut out - it was so disgusting - I need to clean up there more often!
